Hi, I am Claudia!
Thank you for taking a bit of time to acquaint yourself with more information.
I understand that it is really difficult for a number of reasons, to reach out for support sometimes... I would like to take a moment to tell you about who I am so you can decide if I am someone that you could see as possibly being a support on your path forward…
My work, my purpose
As a person I am a gratefully learning, wife and mother of two children and I am someone who values connection, integrity, and gentle growth. I find restoration by the ocean or in the mountains and in creative practices as well as engaging in deep learning, reading for relaxation and immersing myself in music.
As a professional, my work is informed by both professional training and lived understanding of trauma recovery and nervous system healing. This allows me to work with personal insight and deep respect for each person’s pace and capacity. I also bring a personal understanding of neurodivergence, which supports my commitment to neurodiversity-affirming practice. My focus is always on dignity, respect, and helping individuals and families find ways of living that genuinely work for them.
My work is grounded in the understanding that healing and growth does not happen by force or education and insight alone, but through safety, regulation, connection, choice, and respectful collaboration with the body and nervous system.
The modalities and approaches I use allow for both direct and indirect processing which is especially helpful for children and clients who benefit from non-verbal work.
I work gently, practically, and within my professional scope, supporting clients toward greater resilience, integration, and wellbeing.
My Professional Education, Modalities, Special Interests
My work is integrative and grounded in body-based and relational approaches. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and Human Communication. From my younger self’s adventures: I also have an Honours degree in Corporate Communication along with training in process and business analysis as well as project management.
In terms of body-based trauma skills I am a certified Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) Practitioner and I am completing the advanced level of Somatic Experiencing® (SE) in 2027.
Current ongoing training, workshops and short courses in my special interest areas include:

Professional Supervision
It is with deep, heartfelt gratitude that I express my appreciation for the professionals I receive guidance from through mentorship as well as professional supervision. I am humbled to be able to learn from each person. I have sincere respect and appreciation for these persons and as I do not have permission I cannot name them but I hope that they know who they are. Through regular supervision, I receive guidance from specific Counselling Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Educational Pschologists, Registered Counsellors and Social Workers to ensure I practice safely and ethically and stay abreast of the most helpful methods to support client healing and growth.
